Nach der Trennung versuchen Miki und Yasunobu, Yamato aufzumuntern, während Nana Honoka aufheitert. Honoka kehrt schließlich als Managerin zurück und offenbart, wie sehr die Strecke sie braucht. Miki hört jedoch Suzukas Version der Trennung und konfrontiert Yamato, um die Wahrheit aus ihm herauszuzwingen. Miki, die Mitleid mit ihm hat, zwingt ihn, mit ihr Okonomiyaki zu essen. Nach dieser „säuerlichen“ und „seealgenartigen“ Erfahrung erkennt Yamato, dass Miki ihn nur aufmuntert, und beschließt, auf Kurs zu bleiben, um alle Erwartungen zu erfüllen.
