Bis sie am Haus der Sheffields ankommt und dort promt als Kindermädchen engagiert wird. Mr. Sheffield (Charles Shaughnessy) , ein allein erziehender Vater und Witwer, ist natürlich skeptisch und findet ihre Outfits anfänglich unpassend. Doch da sie die Kinder gut im Griff hat sieht er darüber hinweg. Doch dann entwickelt sich ihre Beziehung weiter....
