Jo wird von Laceys Mutter Judy zu einer Übernachtungsparty bei ihrer Tochter eingeladen, die darüber nicht begeistert ist. Auch Jo ist klar, dass der Abend mit Laceys Freundinnen ziemlich unangenehm werden könnte. Aber um an Hinweise auf einen anderen Verdächtigen in Reginas Mordfall zu kommen, nimmt sie das gerne in Kauf.

Unterdessen begleitet Karen Tess auf einen Brunch, wo es zu einer demütigenden Konfrontation mit Reginas Mutter Gloria kommt. Kyle will die Zeit nutzen, um das Haus der Desais nach der fehlenden Kette zu durchsuchen. Danny hat währenddessen sein erstes Fußballspiel und es wird klar, dass es noch ein langer Weg ist, bis ihn die Mannschaft akzeptiert.

Mystery-Drama, in dem der 16-jährige Danny (Avan Jogia) nach verhängnisvollen Ereignissen in der Vergangenheit in seinen Heimatort zurückkehrt und sich nach vielen Jahren mit seinen früheren Freundinnen Jo (Maddie Hasson) und Lacey (Kylie Bunbury) wiedertrifft. Er wurde damals des Mordes an seiner Tante beschuldigt und deswegen verhaftet. Nach seiner Entlassung aus dem Gefängnis will Danny sein Leben wieder in geordnete Bahnen lenken. Doch bereits kurz nach seiner Rückkehr wird er verdächtigt, einen weiteren Mord begangen zu haben.
