Clarks außer Kontrolle geratene Kräfte wurden von seinem Schiff entfernt. Er kann den Übergangsritus nicht abschließen, der es ihm ermöglicht, seine Kräfte zu kontrollieren, bis er einen lila Kristall findet, der sich an Bord des Schiffes befinden sollte. Und er muss es bald finden, oder seine Kräfte werden ihm dauerhaft entzogen. Als Dennis, Matt und Lana versuchen, die Quelle des Kristalls aufzuspüren, den Dennis vor 21 Jahren gefunden hat, beginnt Lana erneut zu vermuten, dass Clark Superboy ist, kann es jedoch nicht beweisen, da Clark anscheinend machtlos ist. Als Clark erfährt, dass der Kristall in Dennis' Hotel geliefert wurde, muss er sich seinem alten Tyrannen aus der High School stellen, um dorthin zu gelangen.
