Als Clark und Lana ihr Praktikum beim Bureau for Extra-Normal Matters beginnen, kehrt Bizarro aus dem Weltraum zurück, um in einer Talkshow zu verkünden, dass er einen Kumpel will! Lex Luthor beschließt, den duplizierenden Strahl zu verwenden, der Bizarro ursprünglich geschaffen hat, um eine weibliche Gefährtin für das Ding aus Stahl zu schaffen. Aber Bizarro muss Luthor zuerst einen Vorrat an Kryptonit stehlen, mit dem er Superboy töten kann. Als Superboy in den Himmel aufsteigt, um ihn aufzuhalten, endet die Konfrontation damit, dass Superboy von Kryptonit auf einem Dach niedergeschossen und für tot gehalten wird.
