Doni, Nando und Rita wachsen gemeinsam unter dem Einfluss des Funks, des Drogenschmuggels und der evangelischen Kirche in der gleichen Favela auf. Obwohl sie alle sehr verschiedene Wege gehen, erkennen die drei Jugendfreunde letztendlich, dass sie sich aufeinander verlassen und sich gegenseitig unterstützen müssen, wenn sie ihre Träume verwirklichen wollen.
