Die Flotte wird fast vollständig vernichtet. Ein einsamer Überlebender, Stig Bernard, findet sich jedoch auf der Erde wieder. Er sammelt eine Handvoll Widerstandskämpfer und macht sich auf den Weg zum Hauptquartier der Inbit in Reflex Point, um Informationen zu sammeln und möglicherweise einen Weg zu finden, sie zu besiegen
