In Oberstdorf wird die Skisprung-Arena aufwendig saniert und umgebaut. Die Gesamtkosten des Bauprojekts belaufen sich auf 40 Millionen Euro. Zwei Baggerfahrer tragen im steilen Hang unter schwierigen Bedingungen 10 000 Kubikmeter Erde und Fels ab. In Nürnberg soll unterdessen ein neues Wohnviertel mit 380 Wohnungen entstehen. Doch bevor die Bauten in die Höhe wachsen, wird dort unterirdisch Schmutzwasser abgeleitet.
