In unserer Gesellschaft werden immer mehr junge Menschen von einer neuartigen „Krankheit“ befallen. Die Symptome, „Net Addictions“ genannt, zeigen sich im zunehmenden Gebrauch des Internets und moderner Technologien, was vor allem infolge von Einsamkeit, Zweifel und Verbrechen hervorgerufen wird. Um die erkrankten Jugendlichen wieder auf den „richtigen Weg“ zu führen, wird eine spezielle Rehabilitationseinrichtung ins Leben gerufen, in die auch Hibiki eines Tages eingewiesen wird. Doch schnell wird klar: Die Anlage ist in Wirklichkeit ein Gefängnis, das sich zudem schon bald als die wahre Hölle herausstellt …
