Das Team untersucht einen Mordfall, in dem eine erfolgreiche Turnerin ums Leben gekommen ist und deren Überreste von einem Blitz getroffen überall in einem öffentlichen Park verteilt wurden. Die Ermittlung führen Brennan (Emily Deschanel) und Booth (David Boreanaz) dahin, dass eine andere Turnerin für den Mord verantwortlich sein könnte, doch stellen sie auch fest, dass das Opfer anscheinend ein Doppelleben führte. Während Booth sich darüber aufregt, dass Brennan Mitgefühl für den Vater des Opfers zeigt, konfrontiert Cam (Tamara Taylor) die Frau, welche ihre Identität gestohlen hat.
