Tsutsui Hikari ist ein Otaku und versucht, dem Sozialleben so gut es geht aus dem Weg zu gehen. Er hat nur einen Freund an der Schule, der auch ein Außenseiter ist. Eines Tages muss er den Schulpool mit Igarashi Iroha putzen. Sie scheint alles zu verkörpern, was Hikari an Real-Life-Mädchen hasst, sie schwänzt, hat weder Manieren noch weibliche Freunde und scheint leichtfertig zu handeln. Trotzdem setzt sie sich für Hikari ein. Dieser sagt jedoch aufgrund seiner Vertrauensprobleme ein paar ziemlich gemeine Dinge zu ihr... Einige Zeit später scheint es so, als könnte Iroha seine erste echte 3D-Freundin werden! Kann er damit umgehen?
